What if someone is not lucky enough to have a friend who lives here in Venice. Here is an advice on how to enjoy Venice. A very simple way is to hire a local photographer, for a long photo shoot.
All the pictures you can see in this page were obviously taken in Venice, Italy. And, I’m sure that you’re familiar with the common saying: “a picture is worth a thousand words”.
That’s true, but let’s spend few words about that. Because, especially in summer, Venice can be very crowded. So sometimes can be very challenging to have a great time.
I’m a professional photographer since 2006, so I can really tell you few things about Venice. Because year after year, I’ve learned a lot about photo shoots for couples and solo travellers.

In the early years, as all the photographers in Venice, I used to provide short sessions. But that means that you don’t have so much time to go beyond the main spots. And, we know, “time flies away”, so everything is focused only on getting the pictures you must take.
Then I started to provide a longer photo shoot, more relaxed. Getting to know people, as we were friends who met after long time. And, from my side, sharing dettagli of Venice. Maybe not so much about history, but for sure about the unique and interesting everyday life. Moreover, giving them advices how to enjoy Venice, after the photo shoot.

Consequently, connecting with people, allows me to take pictures more natural. Taking candid photos about romantic moments, and also fun photos. I must say that is natural for me make people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
And obviously, with a long photo session there is time for a drink or eat something. Perhaps the Venetian finger food “cicchetti, and why not, a glass of wine “prosecco” or the famous Venetian drink “spritz”. Otherwise a good coffee or an ice cream. Everything in a good bars, where local people go and they treat you more like a locals.
Because, it is all about how you experience Venice. Not as a tourist but as traveller with a local friend, a professional photographer. In conclusion, that’s how you can really enjoy Venice. A long photoshoot can be the key of an unforgettable vacation in Italy.
